Women Development

  • To insist the rural women about the importance of education and make necessary arrangements for the women’s education.
  • To provide a home for destitute women and give them training in small scale industries.
  • Self Help Groups have been initiated to promote savings and guide the women towards economic empowerment.
  • To motivate the women for skill development and to create the employment opportunity for women.
  • To Conduct Ward Level Self Help Group meetings by inviting resource persons from various fields to discuss, explain and provide consultation on area level problems-hygiene, women rights, group entrepreneurship, women’s education, dowry violence and family counselling provided.
  • To conduct Zonal level meetings once in a month. Each coordination meetings in facilitated by a resource person who provided insights and awareness on different topics: Women education, child labour and child rights.
  • To start SHG with the aim of creating sustainable development through social, economical status of the women living in below poverty line.
  • To rise in the economical conditions of the families: they are able to have a bank account which also enables them to obtain loans at a very low interest.
  • To come together to form savings and credit organization.
  • To produce financial resources to make small interest bearing loans to their members.
  • To create an ethic that focuses on savings first. The setting of terms and conditions and accounting of the loan are done in the group by designed members.
  • To develop their skills and abilities in various productive activities.
  • To increase in their income, savings and consumption expenditure.
  • To increase self-reliance and self confidence have improved the ability of women to mobilize various public services for their benefit.
  • To become bold and can speak freely in front of a big crowd.
  • To improve women’s economic opportunities and their ability to take collective action, there has been a significant decline in gender based problems such as a domestic violence, dowry, polygamy ect. Interestingly, some of them are motivating other women to form SHMs So they also can reap the benefits.
  • To build, erect and construct and to aid and assist in the construction of house, tenements and hostels for the benefit of poor and the children or destitute who have lost their near and dear one’s in accidents in the hazardous industries.
